FIST OF ALL WET THE SPOT THEN GET A LEMON OR LIME WITH SOMESALT AND RUB IT INTO FABRIC ,THEN A PLASTIC BAG AND PLACE IN SUN TO SWEAT

if you can use a q-tip just spot treat the mildew spots, try that. Also try hanging it out in the sun for a few days.

Chances are it has mildew inside it too. You might try making a paste out of a detergent and rub it into the comforter. Brush it off when it dries.Also, keep it outside in the sun. It probably isn’t a healthy blanket any more and might make you ill. Black mold is very unhealthy. Oh, there is also a Lysol spray to put on it. Beware of strong bleach…it will rot your fabric.
