   You can wash it in the washing machine on delicate. When you put it in the dryer, put a new or clean tennis ball in with it, and it will help distribute the down.

   ~~Wash in cold water on delicate. Put two or three tennis balls in the dryer while drying. It keeps the down from clumping (this works on all stuffed material). I bought my tennis balls at the $1 store in the pet department with three in the package. Keep them sealed in a Ziplock bag, and use on sofa pillows, comforters, quilts, etc.~~

   I machine wash my down comforters all the time.

   it is best to use a commercial size washer and dryer (like in the laundromat). I have a front load washer that is for large loads, so that is what i use. wash on warm and spin for longest time possible to remove all the water you can.

   place in the dryer with a clean pair of cotton tennis shoes. dry as long as it takes to fluff the comforter back up (the tennies beat the feathers/down apart so they don’t stick together)
