   You may dislike the duvet covers but you will save a bundle on cleaning by using one. You could pay up to $75.00 to have a comforter cleaned, whereas with the duvet cover you just throw it in the washer and dryer.
   You can easily make your own duvet there are nothing more than a big pillowslip Look on SewMamaSew for duvet covers if you are interested in making one.

   Good luck, I don’t like duvet covers either. They always shift around. Black is a great choice for a comforter, I bought one for my granddaughter’s birthday (yeh, she asked for black). It looks great in her room with pink accents.

   Dye it black…. You will need a couple of packages of dye because of the size.
